The National Gallery of Armenia

Is one of the largest museums in the CIS. The gallery was founded in 1921 and is part of the Museum Complex on Republic Square. It occupies the upper floors of the museum complex from the third to the eighth. According to the collection of Armenian fine art, it is the largest collection in the world. The museum has the most complete collection of paintings by Aivazovsky

The Museum of the History of Armenia

Was founded by decree of the Parliament of the first Republic of Armenia together with the Art Gallery of Armenia. It was opened to the public on August 20, 1921. The museum was created based on the collections of the Armenian Ethnographic Society of the Caucasus, the Museum of Armenian Antiquities of New Nakhichevan, the Ani Ancient Museum, the Vagharshapat Matenadaran (15 289 items of storage). The museum presents objects of material culture discovered on the territory of Armenia and related to the periods from the Stone Age to the end of the 19th century

Matenadaran

Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after St. Mesrop Mashtots Research Center is one of the largest manuscript repositories in the world and the largest repository of ancient Armenian manuscripts. The institute has a museum open to visitors.

Cascade

Cascade is an architectural and monumental complex in Yerevan, connecting the administrative district of Kentron with Kanaker-Zeytun. The Cafesjian Arts Center is a cascade of five open terraces. The complex has exhibition halls, fountains, flower beds, and sculptures. Above the complex there is a monument dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution (1967).
