Restaurant “Baran Rapan”
“Baran-Rapan” has long been an integral part of the gastronomic life of not only Sochi, but also the country: guests come here for fresh seafood, interesting cuisine that is constantly updated, and the right wine at fair prices. Chef Andrey Gryazev is responsible for the innovations and menu of the “Baran-Rapan” cuisine.
In total, the restaurant has two menus, which are used separately on the first and second floors. On the first floor – a clear menu that pleases with an abundance of local specialties, a democratic atmosphere and the same prices. The second floor – the New Chapter “Baran-Rapan” is a unique place for special occasions – this is a chamber space, inventive cuisine, fine dining in a new interpretation.
The wine list of “Baran-Rapan” is the pride and one of the most important distinctive features of the restaurant, repeatedly noted in prestigious wine ratings, has more than 1000 items. Also this year, the head sommelier of the Baran-Rapan restaurant, Maxim Kochnev, became the “Sommelier of the Year” according to the WHERETOEAT Russia award. Every year, the Russian Wine Awards awards the Baran-Rapan wine list with three stars in such nominations as the best classic list, the best selection of wines by the glass, and as a place with the best offer of Russian wines.
The CCFEST (Chef’s Collaboration Fest) festival is held at the Baran-Rapan restaurant, where the best chefs of Russia hold gastronomic dinners for four hands with the head chef of Baran-Rapan Andrey Gryazev. CCFEST is an important brand in the world of gastronomy, which has established itself as an event in the South of Russia, which is awaited by all connoisseurs of signature cuisine.
